We’re thrilled to invite you to a brand new experience in 2026.  This year, we’re swapping dainty teacups for a delightful 'High' Lunch — an afternoon of fun, friendship, flavour, and flair.  Expect great food, good laughs, inspiring moments, and the warm community spirit for which ASG is known.

We will gather in the beautifully restored Vaudeville Room of the historic Guildford Hotel (upstairs, a lift is available). 

Timing:  Arrive by 11 am to be seated by 11:30 am

A new format for 'show & share'...wear something you have made OR show something you have made, be it a garment, a household item, a craft piece, etc.  A form will be sent to all those wishing to participate.

Our present:  We're thrilled to welcome Liz Dawes from Woven Stories, who will captivate us with tales from her travels through India.  Liz will share the vibrant traditions, exquisite craftsmanship and centuries-old textile techniques that continue to shape India's rich fabric culture today.  Expect colour, creativity, and stories that celebrate the heart of handmade.
