Before the class, you’ll need to sew a toile (muslin) using a jeans-style pattern.

Join Jennifer for this hands-on class and transform your toile into a custom-fitted pair of jeans. The class begins with a personalised fitting session, where Jennifer will guide you through refining the fit of your muslin. You’ll then learn how to accurately transfer those adjustments to your paper pattern, creating a perfectly fitted jeans pattern to use again and again.

Once your pattern is finalised, it’s time to start sewing. Jennifer will teach streamlined construction techniques that make jeans sewing both approachable and enjoyable. You’ll create a clever one-piece pocket bag that doubles as a comfortable tummy panel, master a simplified fly-front zipper method, sew a beautifully finished waistband, add durable belt loops, and finish your hems so they stay flat wash after wash.

Jennifer will also discuss button and rivet options, helping you understand what to purchase and how to install them at home to give your jeans a professional finish.
