FORMAT - Hands-on

SKILL LEVEL - all levels welcome

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION - Larraine will share her years of fitting experience with hints and tips.  This class will give you hands-on pattern alteration experience.  How to identify where and what adjustments need to be made to give the perfect fit.  Some techniques covered:

  • Bust adjustments - several methods
  • Back adjustments - rounded and sway
  • Sleeves, sleeve heads
  • Shoulder lines

KIT CONTENTS (provided by tutor):

  • workbook in which to place samples
  • scaled ruler
  • scaled pattern blocks
  • paper, tissue

STUDENT SUPPLY LIST:

  • good quality pins
  • dressmaking scissors & paper scissors
  • rotary cutter and cutting mat (optional)
  • note pad, pen, pencil, eraser
  • glue stick
