Rona Scrubs is a not-for-profit charitable organisation set up specifically to provide scrubs for our healthcare heroes. Spotlight has donated some fabric and the organisation is working with other suppliers to secure more donations. You can also raid your stash or purchase your own fabric if you are able to do so. Rona Scrubs recommends that, if purchasing fabric, you do so online. Your work will be collected and delivered to the Heroes.
Demand for scrubs has exceeded expectation so any and all help is welcome. Please be patient as the organisation works through the logistics of delivery and collection.

Scrub Caps (QLD) The Redlands Hospital is currently accepting sewn surgical scrub caps, not as PPE but to protect them and to keep their hair tidy. The Facebook group Scrub Caps Army - Redlands QLD has been set up for people who wish to help.
Although initially set up for Redlands Hospital, other hospitals in SE Queensland as well as nurses for doctors' surgeries have requested caps. Before diving in and making dozens of caps, please contact the administrators of the Facebook group to ascertain requirements and how the finished product can be delivered or picked up.
A pattern is available under the File menu of the FB Group.
Scrub Caps Helping our Hospital Heroes Australia is another Facebook group set up to make scrub caps. Initially established to support Royal Melbourne Hospital, this group has now expanded to other hospitals in Victoria and is also cooperating with a similar group in Queensland.
Please refer to the FB group for more information. All patterns, sewing instructions and delivery instructions can be found under the File menu. We recommend contacting the group administrators first before commencing sewing.
