WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION - In this class you will learn to create the perfect pointed collar, attach it to a collar band and then apply it to a neckline

  • Pattern preparation
  • Fabric preparation, selecting the best interfacing and stabilising
  • Stitching and turning tips for the perfect point
  • Grading tips
  • Topstitching tips
  • Preparation of the collar band and attaching the collar
  • Attaching the collar and band to the neckline

KIT CONTENTS (provided by tutor):

  • All pattern pieces pre-cut and fused
  • Notes

STUDENT SUPPLY LIST:

  • White/neutral coloured sewing thread and bobbin
  • Bobbin wound with a bright colour e.g. red
  • Dressmaking scissors
  • Pins
  • Tape measurer/rule
  • Topstitching or edging foot (with a guide along the centre of the foot)
